Any business can use CD business cards to attract more attention to their company. When you hand a prospective client or customer a CD business card, it is like giving them a TV or radio ad and your website all in one small disc. This is a great way to get your message to a targeted audience. People who are interested in your products and services at trade shows and elsewhere are much more likely to look at your disc first when they look through all the paper business cards, brochures, and catalogs they get from vendors, as the CD business card still carries a certain novelty that is engaging to most people.

Flash has the ability to animate text, graphics, images, and masks to create interesting page transitios and intros, while also having an object oriented programming language called Actionscript that can be used to load external content such as video, images, and other Flash movies or SWF files. Flash can also send variables and data to PHP and ASP form mail scripts, so it’s possible to include a contact form in your presentation. Actionscript code can be used to create links to e-mail and web pages too, so you can link your presentation to any page on your website, including your shopping cart.

CD business cards are optical discs that will play in any computer CD drive with a tray. Not for use in the Mac slot-drives. They are approximately the same size as a paper business cards and come in two distinct shapes. The hocky-rink shape which is straight along the top and bottom with curved sides, and fits nicely in the mini-disc indent in the CD drive tray.
