Q. How long does it take to get CDs or business card CDs after I order them?
A. Turn-around time for duplication of 250 discs or less is 1-week plus shipping. Turn-around time for 500 or more discs is 2-weeks plus shipping. We can deliver rush orders in less than a week if necessary for an additional 20%. Please call for rush orders - 1-866-272-8082
Q. What content do I need to supply if I order a multimedia presentation and how do I send it to you?
A. You will need to send us any text and e-mail/website links along with any images you want us to use. These can all be sent via e-mail, ftp upload, or on CD. Once you place an order, we will send you detailed information on what we need for your project and how to send it to us. If you don't have all the content you need, we can create it for you. If you have ordered a template customization package, there is a $50 per hour charge to create content. If you have ordered a custom presentation, we will create the content as necessary according to our contract.
Q. If I order business card CDs do I have to supply the label artwork? Do you have templates for the artwork? Do you create the artwork if necessary?
A. We have Photoshop and Illustrator templates available as free downloads if you wish to create your own label artwork. If you would like us to create your label artwork for you, please select that option in the Label Artwork drop-down box in the shopping cart. There is a $70 charge for us to create the label artwork for you. This will automatically be added to the total when you select that option.
Q. Is it safe to use my credit card to place an order over the internet?
A. Yes, we have a secure site and use SSL to guarantee that your credit card and personal information is encrypted and cannot be stolen. We use the same secure network that banks and credit unions use to transfer funds and information. We never share our customer's private information. Q.What is the difference between business card CDs and DVD business cards?
A. business card CDs will play in any computer CD or DVD drive with a tray and hold 50 MB of data. DVD business cards require a computer DVD drive with a tray and hold 350 MB of data. DVD business cards can also be published as video DVDs and will then play in a set top DVD player.
Q. Are there any CD drives that won't play business card CDs?
A. Yes, some Macintosh computers have slot-drives instead of tray-drives. The slot-drives have no ejectable tray and will only play full-size CDs. Do not put a business card CD or mini-disc in a Macintosh slot-drive CD player. Also, audio CD players in your car or home stereo will not be able to play the data on a business card CD as they will only play audio files.
Q. Can I burn my own business card CDs?
A. Yes, if you have a CD burner in your computer, you can burn your own discs. You can also print labels and apply them, but if you use a standard ink-jet printer to print your labels they will fade after a few weeks if exposed to oxygen. We use special archival pigment-based inks to print labels, and silk-screen printing directly on the disc, to ensure the highest quality printing that will not fade over time. We sell blank labeled discs that have non-fade printing so you can duplicate your own discs and still have the highest quality non-fade labels.
Q. How much does it cost for a custom presentation?
A. The cost varies so much it is difficult to say, however a very simple custom presentation with up to five pages can be as low as $500. More complex presentations with video, slideshows, voice-overs, and custom animation and graphics can cost a great deal more. Q. How much does it cost to make changes to my presentation in the future?
A. That depends on the amount of time it takes and how complex the changes are. Simple changes can be as low as $50 which includes re-publishing the presentation. We charge $50 per hour to make changes to existing presentations.
Q. What sort of guarantee do you have that I will be happy with your work?
A. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority and we will send you samples of your presentation or artwork as it progresses to get feedback and approval before we finalize your project. We will make sure you are happy with your presentation or artwork before we deliver the finished product.
Q. Can I make my own presentation and how do I do that?
A. We have a list of resources and links on our Presentation Information page that can help you determine the best type of presentation for your needs.
Q. If I fill out your contact form to receive a free business card CD sample, will I start getting lots of junk e-mails from you or others?
A. No, we never share personal information with outside sources. See our Privacy Policy. We will send one follow-up e-mail after a couple weeks to make sure you received your free sample and to see if you have any questions. If you do not wish to receive the follow-up e-mail, you can let us know in the comments section of the form.
Q. What if I need to cancel my order? Can I get my money back?
A. If you have purchased a service only and cancel the order before work has begun, we will refund your money minus a service charge of $35. business card CD, CD, and DVD replication orders cannot be returned once they have been filled unless defective. If you receive damaged product or if there is a problem with the order, please contact our office within 30 days of the shipping date for information on returning the product for replacement.
